Meet Our Non-Profit Partner for 2012-2013, Shoes and Clothes For Kids (SC4K)
CSHRM is proud to have chosen SC4K to benefit from our charitable giving back events throughout the 2012-2013 chapter year, including the Holiday Silent Auction, NOHRC and the Golf Outing. SC4K is the only non-profit organization in Greater Cleveland providing new shoes and clothes to thousands of children in need at no charge throughout the year. Donations help SC4K positively impact the lives of area children by giving them the self-esteem and confidence that comes from having brand new shoes and clothes.

About Our Committee
The Chapter Champion Committee has volunteers from diverse organizations dedicated to delivering creative and interactive ways for CSHRM to give back to the northeast Ohio community at large. The committee focuses their attention on charitable organizations, and builds awareness for their causes with fun events throughout the calendar year. Our goal is to support our community through outreach and charitable efforts.
We are responsible for:
- Building relationships and taking an active role with partner nonprofits
- Organizing and planning the Annual Charitable Silent Auction & Raffle (November) and Annual Charitable Golf Outing & Silent Auction (July)
- Securing donations and services for the event
- Communication and marketing efforts for the giving back events with the CSHRM Membership & partner non-profit.
- Partnering with other CSHRM committees (i.e., Programs, Social, NOHRC, etc)
- Supporting other committee members with follow through and honoring commitments
- Enjoying ourself and being passionate about helping others!
Through our efforts we have raised over $61,479.00 over the past 3 years for nonprofit organizations.
How Can I Help?
Getting involved is easy! By attending the Chapter Champion events including the Annual Charitable Silent Auction & Raffle and the Annual Charitable Golf Outing & Silent Auction, you will meet lots of people and volunteer your time for a good cause. You can also network with members of the represented charity organizations and learn ways to volunteer with them on your own! We need your help developing relationships in the community, connecting with area organizations for donations and coordinating and volunteering at events.
